Joe Sanders

Joe Sanders is a no nonsense guitarist that hails from Washington D.C. Playing shows on legendary stages such as New York City’s The Bitter End and CBGB’s( both numerous times) to Florida’s Ruth Eckerd Hall, Skippers Smokehouse, Tampa Theater and everywhere in between. 

Johanes “Ice” Quilitz

Johannes “Ice” Quilitz is a full time, bi-coastal performing Music and Visual Arts Educator based in Dunedin, FL. Being largely self-taught in both, Ice has a unique perspective on the creative process that comes across in his teaching, bass playing, songwriting, drum circle facilitation and artwork.

Marvin Ray Hawkins

Musician

Marvin Ray Hawkins is a world touring, performing, recording and teaching multi-instrumentalist musician who began as a Church vocalist at 6 years old. Emerging original Song compositions begin evolving on piano.

Royse Bassham

Royse “Big Gravy” Bassham has thrived as a professional performing educator on the drum set in the vibrant Tampa Bay area for over 25 years. Graduating from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, Royse had the privilege to study under legendary studio professionals.

Rich Lyszczek

Richard Lyszczek is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology enthusiast with a passion for creating innovative solutions. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Marist College in 2002. In 1999, Richard founded his first company, All-In-One Network Solutions, Inc., marking the beginning of his successful journey in the tech industry.

With a passion for both music and technology, he is one of the founders of Live Play Workshop, who’s mission revolves around providing accessible and enriching musical experiences for youngsters from all walks of life.

The production crew provides helps make the Live Play Workshop performances come to life with the technology, equipment production services, streaming services, production props, production crewing, and video editing needed to produce a professional best in class musical production.

The Red Horse production team doesn’t just stop at creating exceptional Live Play Workshop musical productions – they also take our students on an enlightening journey through the captivating world of music production. Their dedicated team of experts goes the extra mile by not only showcasing the entire production process but by also unraveling the magic behind the scenes. We demystify the equipment, showing our students not just what it is but how it works and what it’s used for.

Joe Sanders

Joe Sanders is a no nonsense guitarist that hails from Washington D.C. Playing shows on legendary stages such as New York City’s The Bitter End and CBGB’s( both numerous times) to Florida’s Ruth Eckerd Hall, Skippers Smokehouse, Tampa Theater and everywhere in between. Joe Sanders’ guitar has blistered National and Regional stages for over 30 years. Also working with mega producer Silvia Massy Shivey{ Prince, The Red hot Chili Peppers- who handpicked Joe to audition for their band in 1993-,Johnny Cash ,Tom Petty and Tool} and Jim Wood from Dishwala , on Basic Rock Outfits national release “Thank You For The Pain on Tightnote Records and 101 Distribution. Also Releasing an independent solo record shortly after that. Then moving on to Fusion Rock Band Umbra Luna. Now Joe Sanders is currently recording new music with rock band Blackbird Revival and instrumental fusion rock band  Joe Sanders Band.

Joe has been teaching guitar for 20 years. From Jim Terry music, Sam Ash, Guitar Center and Berretta Music Academy all in Clearwater Florida . With a loyal following of private students Joe is booked solid. Week after week. Month after month.  Joe studied intense Music theory lessons for 4 years with the great Michael Fath and also studied  jazz guitar for 4 years with the legendary Mike Pachelli.

JOHANES “ICE” QUILITZ

Johannes “Ice” Quilitz is a full time, bi-coastal performing Music and Visual Arts Educator based in Dunedin, FL. Being largely self-taught in both, Ice has a unique perspective on the creative process that comes across in his teaching, bass playing, songwriting, drum circle facilitation and artwork. Between playing bass in original bands since the late 80’s, teaching private music lessons since 2001 and conducting team building workshops using his own hand-made instruments beginning since 2008, Ice is a perfect fit to assist Live Play Workshop in its mission to successfully bring kids together through music, create lasting relationships and ultimately serve their communities through live performance.

Marvin Ray Hawkins

Marvin Ray Hawkins is a world touring, performing, recording and teaching multi-instrumentalist musician who began as a Church vocalist at 6 years old.   Emerging original Song compositions begin evolving on piano.  While studying percussion with his school Orchestra he becoming a featured soloist on the glockenspiel and first chair snare drummer.   An interest in stringed instruments took over when Marvin’s songwriting on the guitar began to get noticed.  While graduating with an associate degree in engineering, Marvin would complete studies in advanced music theory and vocals.  While recording and performing with musicians met in school Marvin began playing with many Florida bands,  sometimes as many as 4 or 5 different bands a week on various instruments, a work ethic he continues to this day, teaching everything learned along the way.

 

Royse "Big Gravy" Bassham

Royse “Big Gravy” Bassham has thrived as a professional performing educator on the drum set in the vibrant Tampa Bay area for over 25 years. Graduating from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, Royse had the privilege to study under legendary studio professionals.

With an illustrious 40-year journey as a student of the drum set, Royse identifies as a true fusion player, melding Corps and Scottish style snare drumming with the intensity of extreme metal, advanced funk fusion, rock, Latin, and jazz styles. Beyond drumming techniques, Royse’s teachings delve into Practical Musicianship, emphasizing professionalism, showmanship, and a distinctive approach to coaching Rock Bands akin to a sports team. His guidance heavily emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and precision timekeeping, thoroughly preparing his students for professional performance settings.

Richard Lyszczek

Richard Lyszczek is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology enthusiast with a passion for creating innovative solutions. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Marist College in 2002. In 1999, Richard founded his first company, All-In-One Network Solutions, Inc., marking the beginning of his successful journey in the tech industry.

After steering All-In-One Network Solutions to success, Richard sold the company in 2015 and embarked on a new venture, founding Alobi, LLC, where he continues to drive technological advancements and business excellence.

In 2023, Richard expanded his impact by establishing the Live Play Workshop, a non-profit organization dedicated to children’s live performance music. The workshop’s mission is encapsulated in the tagline: Learn. Play. Perform. This endeavor reflects Richard’s commitment to nurturing artistic talent and providing children with transformative experiences through the magic of live music.

Beyond the world of technology and philanthropy, Richard finds joy in the art of smoking barbecue, showcasing his culinary skills, and love for flavorful experiences. His adventurous spirit extends to travel, with a particular fondness for exploring the Caribbean and Europe, seeking new horizons and cultural encounters.

Justin Stile is a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to empowering young minds through music education and technological innovation. With a passion for both music and technology, he is one of the founders of Live Play Workshop, who’s mission revolves around providing accessible and enriching musical experiences for youngsters from all walks of life.

Driven by his belief in the transformative power of music, Justin established Live Play Workshop to provide accessible and high-quality music education to children from diverse backgrounds. His commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and teamwork in young individuals has been the cornerstone of the school’s success.

Alongside his philanthropic endeavors, Justin is also the co-founder and President of a successful technology company, Alobi where he harnesses the potential of cutting-edge innovations. Alobi believes in the power of partnerships to drive technological advancements and deliver exceptional solutions to their clients. His expertise in technology has been instrumental in integrating modern teaching methods and tools into Live Play Workshop’s curriculum, enriching the learning experience for students.

Justin’s dual roles as a tech entrepreneur and a passionate advocate enable him to synergize the latest technological advancements with music education, creating dynamic learning environments that inspire and empower young learners.
